The short version: we use your information to quote, schedule and complete your auto glass work and to handle your insurance claim. We don't sell it. We never share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone for their marketing.

Who we are

What we collect

Contact details: your name, mobile number, email address and ZIP code or service address.
Vehicle details: year, make, model and VIN. We look up a VIN in the free U.S. Department of Transportation (NHTSA) vehicle database to find the right glass and safety-camera features.
Photos: pictures of the damage you send us, and before-and-after photos our technician takes of the work.
Insurance details: your insurance company, policy and claim numbers, and deductible, when you use insurance.
Service records: appointment times, the work done, safety-camera calibration records, and your signature confirming the work.
Messages and calls: texts you send us and that we send you, and a record of calls to our business line (the number and time; we do not record call audio).

Our website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives standard technical information such as your IP address.

How we use it

To give you a quote, schedule and complete your repair or replacement, and tell you when we're on the way.
To file and follow up on your insurance claim, if you're using insurance.
To answer your calls and texts, including texting you back if we miss your call.
To ask for a review after your service, only if you've agreed to receive texts.
To keep accurate business, warranty and safety records, and to meet legal requirements.

Who we share it with

Your insurance company and the claims administrators that work for it, to process a claim you ask us to file.
Service providers that run our systems on our behalf, such as website and database hosting, our texting provider and our email provider. They may use your information only to provide those services to us.
When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, employees or business.

We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our texts.

Businesses we contact

We sometimes email local businesses that run work vehicles about fleet glass service, using contact details the business has published (for example on its website or business listing). Every such email includes our name and mailing address and a way to opt out, and we stop when asked.

How long we keep it

We keep service and insurance records for as long as we need them for warranty, insurance and legal purposes, generally [retention period, e.g. 7 years]. Photos and messages are kept with the job they belong to. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.

Security

Our business systems are password-protected and hosted with reputable providers that encrypt data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to the people who need it to serve you.

You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law or for an active insurance claim.
